On a shallow wind

Have ever really sat back and watched the world go by
How it travels along without you....
leaving you behind.

Well it happens and slowly
we lose our sense of comfort
...and happiness.

I used to think that i was getting left behind
that they were moving on without me,
growing up.

But lately  i have realised that
I am the one...
Running ahead.

Like the shallow wind,
Laughing
as they watch me grow smaller
...in the distance.

I am trying my best to be a happy child.

Disappointingly the only words i can come up with right now is....
 ...Would you like some tea?

May I have this dance?

There are a few things i have realised recently....that a want to happen me or for me to make happen.

• I want to be able to roller skate.
• I want to do my best at everything i do.
• I want to say 'Good morning' to my friends every morning.
• I want to be in a play where I am the princess and I dance with a prince at a masked ball.
• I want to read as much as possible.
• I want to write a play.

and...

• I want to be more cheerful....so that when i am sad...someone will try to cheer me up and say

"A smile suits you better"

Romance is tough...when you are 12.

He watched her from behind the school yard fountain. She was as clueless as ever. No, he was not just being mean, her best friend had even said so.

He took another peak at her and his face pricked with red heat. Why did he have to like her, Her of all people. He took a deep breath and turned around away form her. Why did his heart have to race for her. It was that smile, the way she made sure he was always okay.

Why can't i just tell her. The boy thought to himself.

"umm. Hello." Stunned  and broken from his thoughts, he looked up...into her eyes and smiling face. "Why are you sitting here all by yourself?"

His face went red again. "Umm....I..I."

I have to tell her now.

"I....you...umm."

Her smile faded. "What is it?"

All of his confidence seemed to dissolve, so with out warning he did the only thing he knew and ran with his heart beating in his ears.

The girl's best Friend joined her. "what just happened." She asked.
The girl was still watching after him. "I...I don't know?" She sighed. "He ran away from me again."

The girl's best friend Shook her head. "You really are clueless."

"Wha..?"

"The poor boy... He's Trying really hard to tell her."

"Wha...??" the girl said again.

Her best friend smiled. "Never mind..." she took her friends hand. "Lets go."
