A one...William Herondale.

"My name is Herondale," the boy said cheerfully. "William Herondale, but everyone calls me Will. Is this really your room? Not very nice, is it?"
He wandered toward the window, pausing to examine the stacks of books on her bedside table, and then the bed itself. He waved a hand at the ropes. "Do you often sleep tied to the bed?"

This comes from the one the only Will Herondale, who is the Jace like persona in Cassandra claire's new Book 'Clockwork Angel.'

it is a prequel series to the very impressive Mortal instruments Series, which was translated into over 25 languages. WOW!

It is...obviously because its a prequel....set before the original series (Which was set in modern day new york) in London 1878.

It  is a fantastic book that only took me less than a night to read and still has the array of shadow hunters and downworlders from the original series. Readers of the mortal instruments will see some familiar faces and personality types as well as enjoying the many hints to the Mortal instrument series with lines such as...

"Black hair and blue eyes are my favorite combination."

...From a one Magnus Bane.  *Cough Cough*

It has that same intense sort of storyline as the original  and will keep you guessing as the book progress. Character development is done so well and the book will just keep you wanting more.

The book contains most of the same genres as the original series including the troubled romances :P

I do recommend both this book and the original series to anyone who is interesting in a good read that has, action, paranormal, mystery and romance.

But remember to start with the 1st book 1st.

City of Bones -By Cassandra Claire.

And now a word from my favorite character in this book.

"I have mastered many things in my life. Navigating the streets of London, speaking French without an accent, dancing the quadrille, the Japanese art of flower arranging, lying at charades, concealing a highly intoxicated state, delighting young women with my charms..."

Tessa stared.

"Alas," he went on, "no one has ever actually referred to me as 'the master,' or 'the magister,' either. More's the pity..."
